Years ago, I'd have said Hera but between New 52 and Historia looks she'll well-covered.

Of the traditional Olympians, I think someone could do something interesting with Persephone and either of the various interpretations of her myth (whether she was kidnapped by Hades or if it was something consensual like how some interpret it). One of the God of War games even had her as a villain, so I think there's potential there.

I think he just became a general DC Universe villain since Azz wasn't interested in using any of her previous rogues. All the ones in the image there above except First Born were popping up in stuff outside her solo book.

Did Azz ever say why he was allergic to her villains?

I imagine it was just a disinterest in them, or he was more focused on a Greek epic than super-heroics.

But boy, what it awkward when Cheetah got that #23.1 issue despite never showing up in a Nu52 WW issue previously. And also kind-of funny that she got #23.1 dibs while the main enemy of the run, First Born, got the #23.2 slot.

I think that particular Circe look can look alright but it very much does depend on the artist. I definitely prefer her Perez, Evely, and Dodson designs.

I think Azz was definitely in the camp of "WW has a lame rogues gallery".

I've brought it up before but aside from the Zeus daddy stuff and man-hating Amazons, if I were to change an aspect of Azz's run I'd just make First Born a New 52 version of Hercules. And also give him a better design.

Yeah, he was in Lobdells Superboy book where they deaged him a fair bit and established him to have been an experiment by HIVE who was friends with Superboy for a bit. This version just had the power to absorb psychics psychic power like a sponge to add to his own. Which was a whole thing since Superboy and HIVE were psychics during new 52
