Neither did I, mainly seems to have worked on Superman stuff from the 2000s for the most part at DC.

Indeed. Would have been a cool cameo in that prisoners of Tartarus page from #774

I never read this story, but as a Hispanic kid looking at this cover in his local drugstore's comic book rack, I could not help but be intrigued!

I was wondering who else noticed the dceu costume is just the classic one piece with a "semi"skirt.

If we're being perfectly honest, the movie costume is a one piece swimsuit too, it's just a better designed version of one with a skirt attached. You see similar looks in old movies all the time, like Miss Mazeppa in "Gypsy" for instance.

I like that the movie costume is a one piece like the classic one I think it will look good even without the skirt

    Apparently not.
According to various internet databases, the WW-related villainous Gaucho didn't even have a civilian name, while the heroic Gaucho was a man named Santiago Vargas who was inspired by Batman to fight crime.

Oh yeah, my bad, this Gaucho is a villain, the other a Hero... maybe they're relatives
