I kind of miss the Silver Swan/Cassie rivalry. Lotta drama in those stories.

Yeah, it's the same logic behind Deva getting used as a WG foe. Although Deva is actually younger than Cassie. But teen characters just kinda fit naturally in Wonder Girl stories.

This made me think of one of the brief moments we got with Devastation in Young Justice (in that she mentions she goes toe to toe with the "actual Wonder Woman"), I will say that she was interestingly designed in the show with the crown of thorns changed into a tattoo. I hope we see more of her, as I do love it when they use baddies who don't get that much screen time.

YJ Devastation looks like what a "Nolanized"/"realistic" version that would have shown up in a 2000s live-action superhero adaptation. Didn't even know she was supposed to Devastation until like last year.

Then I drew the connection Weisman's buddies with Eric Luke and it all made sense.

Given Deva can shape change... if they used Deva again she could look like the one on left without breaking with the comics. Deva's a limited shapeshifter, I think it has to be a Human or near-human woman. But she's actually impersonated people.

Oh also, one of comic Deva's less used powers was to create Earthquakes. In YJ Deva made the ground shake just by walking.

So radically different, but not TOO far IMO.
