Small detail, but I always LOVED when Ares dialogue balloons were blood red like that. Whose run started that? I think small details like that are fun and add visual cues that enhance character work.
Happy love day y’all! With a heroine who embodies love, you would think that a good chunk of her villains embody the antithesis of love in various different ways. Whether it be as petty as jealousy or as extreme as hate. What villains embody the antithesis of love and challenge Wonder Woman’s world view?
Cheetah actually killed love by killing Aphrodite.
I'm going with Cheetah on that one.
Plus the backbone of Pricilla's character was jealousy and that has since been passed onto Barbara in recent years. New 52 Cheetah also liked to rip people's heart's out, but that's more of a visual flare than a metaphor.

On that note, if you have a sense of humor like mine...
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Circe lives a life where she doesn't feel love for more than a handful of people and is willing to inflict casual cruelty just for her own amusement on the rest of the world.
Hercules is similar in that his amoral ambitions have destroyed entire nations in the past. Also DC's version of Hercules is more about lust than love.
Then there's Ares...
