Well Iron Man knew, but that didn't necessarily mean he told the other Avengers. Carol knowing their whereabouts doesn't mean that Tony told anyone else. I don't think it amounts to anything in any case.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

I'm kind of disappointed that the big reveal leading up to issue 100 is all about Gert, since we've already gotten a ton of drama centered around her. I'm very salty that every Runaway has been able to return except Xavin. I know that they're pushing NicoxKarolina hard, but it seems like a big oversight. Considering they know a space Emperor it would be nice to see them make an effort to at least figure out if Xavin is still alive.
No argument here. There are multiple plot coupons out there that could easily lead to Xavin's return. Rowell just doesn't want to deal with them. Her insistence of not bloating the cast to keep the plot at a slow burn is less a creative choice, and more just an annoying limitation. One that drastically reduces the book's enjoyment for month-to-month readers.

So I don't want to jinx it, because I don't really care that much, but did something happen to Gib, or did he just go to school and never come back?
'Cause I'm good either way.

At least SOMEONE remembers Xavin.
Man, the amount of research Luciano Vecchio must've done for those art pages. There are references there to Uncanny X-Men, All-New X-Men, Young Avengers, Runaways, Angela, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (she's hetero so she's not there, but her trans friend Koi Boi is), Loki, Generation X, New Mutants, Avengers Academy, Future Foundation, Champions, West Coast Avengers, New/U.S.Avengers, Fearless Defenders, Uncanny Inhumans, New Agents of Atlas. And I probably missed some as there's a few characters I didn't recognise.

Note how at no point they say anything about this being the last issue of the series, which I imagine they would've if it was, just like they did when announcing Ms. Marvel's 75th issue. It looks like the book might've survived again, after all. This run is really beating all odds. LOL
