Oh, I know. He's got them on the JL cover.

But these anniversary issues usually have decade variants and the character generally resembles how they did in that decade... So I expect I'll be buying 60s, 70s, possibly 80s and 00s at least.

But 90s? 10s? Yeeaaah, probably not unless it wows me or it's someone like Joshua Middleton who can do no wrong.

Come to think of it, I don't think Adam Hughes has ever drawn Mera so I'm hoping he does a cover with her on it, even if it's a retailer exclusive.

It's part of the work-for-hire contract and it's not like they changed his story or anything. I'm sure he was told about it.

Not sure if it will be an ongoing, but at least they are doing something for the 80th Anniversary and if Aquaverse is saying that rest assured it is.
