How can the Titans lives be tumbling down and we haven't seen much of them or their personal lives in this run? None of their students seem particularly troubled either or a good fit for Red X.

What do you mean? the Titans are the faculty and have been in every issue and It'd only make sense that they are affected by the Academy potentially being destroyed. None of the students fitting the Red X criteria emphasizes the mystery.

Sometimes as a Titan fans, we shall always make a habit at looking the sales chart. The " TITANS UNITED #1 " has only sold around 33k. This is very low for a new #1. Just I thought for those Titans fans who have been waiting for so long to see the Perez/Wolfman Teen Titans back on the spotlight again.

Titans United is a semi tie-in to the show that doesn't have a big name writer or artist on it, though. It's not like it's a book that's JUST being called "Titans" or what have you. It's ancillary, and because of that I'm not sure that it'd be fair for anyone to base the future or the reactions of the franchise on anything like that.

Teen Titans Academy, an ongoing, was at 29k physical units in August and that's an issue that didn't have any of the faculty in it - and DC has faith in the title and creative team, otherwise they wouldn't have asked Sheridan to stay on for more issues of TTA while they push toward whatever the next phase for Titans is. I also wouldn't be shocked if at least one of the titles is selling significantly better in digital rather than print.

I feel like DC is putting faith in the wrong thing. TTA is lackluster at best.
