Poor Garth, always getting left out.
You know, despite Cyborg being in a unitard I appreciate how sleek is design looks and how much more human parts he has. I've never really been to much a fan of the bulky Cyborg. Love Teen Titans animated series, and while his bulkiness set him apart from the cast, he was a bit too wide. I do like them adding blue to his color scheme, as well as the blue eye rather than the red eye.
Is it time to retcon the New Teen Titans to coincide with the first appearance of Robin? And then have them join the Justice League on a permanent basis. Most members of the New Teen Titans have powers that do not clash with the big 7, so power wise they would be a good fit. But where they're lacking is huge mythologies that can match up with Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern etc..
I would publish a comic depicting the first appearance of Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy as occurring in the 1940s the same time of Dick Grayson first appearance. The Justice League opens a Justice League academy with the New Teen Titans as their first students. Cyborg's first origin will be the Motherbox. He will eventually overcome his struggles being a halfman/half human and will ascend into a Digital God, similar to his arc in Zach Snyder's Justice League, and be able to make himself a human body. Starfire will be stronger. She will be the daughter of X-hal, and will be a Demi-God like Wonder Woman. Beast Boy will be Beast Man. Terra will also be in the line-up. Dick Grayson will kind become the greatest fighter/martial artist on the planet which will distinguish him from Batman and allow him a place on the League. Doing this will give breathing room for all of the other Titans teams to exist in continuity.

The Titans should never be, aspire to be, or want to be in the JL. That's the whole point of the Titans. They are their own ,amazing team. They are trying to exist outside of the shadows of their mentors.
They should not be considered a b team. They should not be lesser than. JL isn't all that.
Its doesn't have to be. The NTT cast is obviously the most popular and successful. Problem is i don't think they know what to do with the rest, and so they keep just putting them back on the Titans. But at this point its just bloats and distracts. They even name the school after them. The team itself now has become so underdeveloped because they spend most of the time trying to rehabilitate its character rather then the team itself. And rather then continue in the vain of NTTs by creating new member or adding new additions from else where, the team is trapped to the same members that don't bring any value at this point. The team is trapped by it past member and their lack of relevance

Now that Red X is canon in the mainstream, which TV Teen Titans viillains do you want to see them appear in the DCU?
Their most successful and still resonant generation is still the NTT generation. That's why they keep going back to that well.
Plus there is something powerful about a group of teen from disparate backgrounds coming together, bonding together and finding their own place in the world. Turning them into Justice League Junior does them a disservice imo.
I blame the Didio era for trying to screw them over with multiple relaunches that went no where.
The NTT era could have grown, with Cyborg, Starfire, Beastboy mentoring a new generation, possibly holding down ongoings. Deaging Raven and Beastboy was a mess, imo. Sticking Cyborg into the Justice League and trying to pretend his Titans history never happened in the Nu2 was a mistake as well.
