Not specifically, just a plot that hits the same major beats. Maybe Clark loses his powers for a while and the Supermen arise to fill the void, or maybe they do a variation of Exile. Whatever the case, I want him to be the one who steps up when needed. Hell, in my own retelling of Reign, it's Supergirl and Steel and that's it. lol

Far, far too long. I hope S&L is only the start. I want him to start getting used more on the animated side at least. I’d take a cameo in the Suicide Squad game as well (although I don’t expect that game to treat the Supermythos well at all).

I believe that version of the Steel suit was during the 2001-2003 run of the Man of Steel book when Mark Shultz and Doug Mahnke were at the helm. Everything visually in the Superbooks were really heavily Manga influenced at the time.

Funny how the manga influence in comics seems to wax and wane. Seems like we’re in the midst of another period where manga is having a strong influence on western comics.

Would love to see ma boi Irons back in the spotlight ala big solo push with a brand new sleek and aerodynamic armor (like a superior version of Lex's Superman suit). Also have a stretch with him in a purified Entropy Aegis armor via New Genesis tech.

I really liked him being able to turn his skin into metal during 52, reminded me of Iron Man’s Extremis armor. Would be cool to see that ability brought back as a form of nanotech Irons uses to wear new armor perhaps? Similar to Extremis.

While it's a cool upgrade, I'll always prefer the steel suit. The slight clunkiness of it makes it feel more tangible, and it definitely gives the impression he's a self-made man who pulled himself up from nothing.

I’d like to see Lee do a piece specifically on Irons (still not over how despite saying he’d only draw a character once, he ended up drawing all those Batman variants to raise money lol)
