IBH, I don't like Hippolyta in JL as much as I liked her in Justice Society. I know some fans did not like her traveling into the past and joining the JSA but, I personally liked her inclusion on the team. Is Hippolyta's tenure in the JSA even canon anymore? Originally Posted by SJNeal

With the "it all happened" trying to decide what fits in as canon becomes endlessly confusing.
We are at the point where we sit around debating each other's head canon.
If you liked Hippolyta in the JSA, then she served in that organization.
If you didn't, well then you can just put it down to an elsewhere and move on.

I never understood how "Daddy Zeus" added anything to Wonder Woman's mythos. I disagree with the argument that it makes her more "relatable" to have a father. Plus, that means Hippolyta betrayed one of her patron goddesses, Hera, by sleeping with her husband either knowingly or unknowingly. Either way that would have gained Hera's wrath in Greek mythology and would have made Diana an enemy of Hera's. Prefer the depiction of Hippolyta as respecting her patron goddesses, especially Hera. Diana's catch phrase alone, Great Hera, is a sign of respect and reverence. I wholeheartedly agree: Daddy Zeus can kick rocks.
