    That's why I figured I'd ask.

Oops. Didn’t realize this was Golden Age Carter only.

Not to be snarky or anything, but it is in the title of the thread.

And I wouldn't rule out anything with Carter's / Khufu's time during, say, Geoff Johns' JSA run, since that's essentially the same character.

All that bulk and yet he's able to disguise that perfectly under a suit. Doesn't the last pic make him look like a tenured quirky professor of archaeology delivering a lecture and the first one a pissed off Carter in the middle of a fight?

Uh, this is Golden Age Hawkman?!?
The Carter Hall / Prince Khufu version without any of that mix-in of Katar Hol and later reincarnated-through-time-and-space stuff?

I love Hawkman's GA adventures. I was pretty gutted when the second Archive got the axe. Would have been nice to see those restored pages.

We don't know yet. But they are drawing inspiration from Geoff Johns Black Adam arc in JSA which features the reincarnated Hawkman.

Since I used the Silver Age Hawkman and Hawkwoman entry from History of the DC Universe Book in the Silver Age Hawkman (Katar Hol/Carter Hall) Appreciation Thread 2021, I figured that I should use the Golden Age Hawkman and Hawkgirl entry from History of the DC Universe here.

NOTE: Also included The Spectre because it seemed better than clipping Hawkman's wing.

as far as we know Hodge is portraying Golden Age Hawkman, he's fair game.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force
