As for Joseph and Maggot, they were such short lived additions to the team (in case of Joseph actual short lived), who barely had any meaningfull interactions with the rest of the team anyway. So even if Gambit wasn't missing during the time they joined, it seems unlikely they would have formed a friendship or at least rapport with him.

Ah, i remembered their interactions in TAS and combined with their appearance in X-23, assumed it was based on a past comic interactions. So thanks for correcting me on that one.

How about Uncanny X-Men #276, does that count...?

I love the team of Remy & Bishop, as well. Always thought this pairing had great potential...

David Marquez recently posted a Gambit commission he did on his instagram. Man, I would love to see him draw him in a book again

Gambit looked awesome in Gold 30. I doubt Marquez will return to Marvel.

Definitely not anytime soon. It's too bad Marvel seems to lose a lot of great artists after a while

I blame Alonso. He was telling that only writers sell books and artist don't sell books. Like only superstars like Copiel and McNiven can sell.

I hope things changed at Marvel when Alonso was fired.

Which is insane to me. Look at Jim Lee in the 90s, he had a huge pull. I buy books a lot of the time for the artist if they're good enough (like Coipel or Mann).

Remy is the only inspired X-man that doesnt appear in Children of the Atom, which is a disappointment bc I would have liked to have seen him discuss the new kids alongside Scott, Jean, Kurt and Ororo. Odd choice to exclude him

ETA: Warren wasnt in it either

That's too bad, especially since he was shown in some of the promo art/covers for it. Classic case of using his image to sucker people like me into getting interested. Oh well. Still gonna try it bc I like Vita

I thought it was a good read, so yeah can't go wrong trying it. I am still hoping Gambit will show up down the line.

This is probably the slowest the Gambit appreciation thread has ever been. Marvel really has us starved. If Disney ever decides to have the Gambit movie or TV show they will have to use him in the comics more.

There is no more 'Gambit' but only 'Rogue's Husband'.

There's hardly any Rogue either. She's stuck as Betsys best friend.

Times like this it's hard to think of Marvel as a professional company.

And Betsy is no more 'Psylocke'...she is 'Apocalypse's Tool' now.
