Here's another interesting article. Tini Howard is going to write Catwoman for DC. Some writers write for multiple projects at a time but I think it's a good sign for Gambit getting a new outlook. I'm looking forward to Gambit getting some fun new stuff if he sticks around

Got a question: Someone posted back when Excalibur started that Gambit charged his hand in his solo. I just finished rereading it and I must’ve missed that moment. What issue is it?

Yes. I think I was misremembering where it started. It probably was mr and mrs X and not Asmus solo.

Charged fist used it in X-23 when Gambit was fighting with Mrs. Sinister.
Also Gambit charged fists or handcuffs that covered his hands completely in Asmus solo when he was escaping from Wisdom and friends in issue 6 if I remeber right.
After that he punched Spiral with charched fist in MMX 8.
