Hell he gotta do something to kill the time while waiting for Kitty's laundry to get done. When I look at that cover all I see is my man being the gun guy with Miss Kitty and even Callisto clearly above him. For my own sanity I'm just gonna demote Bishop to a Great Cadet. I've said from the jump him being a Great Captain was a paper title and the X-Office damn sure hasn't proved me wrong.

Lol, they gave Bishop a badge and a gun and moved him along.

Bishop is the only Krakoan captain that's continuously portrayed in a subordinate role and that just does not sit well with me.

Precisely my problem with it.

All the other captains get to take charge and do cool **** yet he's stuck continually taking orders from the bad girls club? Yuck and it's getting old.

This Red Bishop rubbish can bite it. How on earth can the HFTC shenanigans supercede his position as a captain?

Like I posted earlier during X of SWORDS, one of the most important events on Krakoa so far and all the Captains get to do something except Bishop. He's really important.

I pulled out my old cards from the 90's. According to them, Gambit is 6'2", Cyclops is 6'3", Bishop and Archangel are 6', and Colossus and Cable are 6'6", but that does contradict in-comics art from that time.

I did the same thing. When I saw the ht. listed at 6' I was stunned. I agree, Bishop is 6' 3" at a minimum.

Colossus should be taller, especially so when he's in armor form.

Those are the heights I'm familiar with.

Official stats vary source to source, and change over time. To me, Bishop should be 6'6", just based on his relative height to Scott(6'3") and Ororo(5'11") since he is usually depicted as a bit taller than both of them, even when Ororo is in heels. Piotr should be 6'7" in this rubric, growing to 7'6" or so in metal form.

I think this is one of his better costumes in awhile. Gives me a feel of the UXF suit too.



They can give him as many red costumes as they like though. Until he’s actually doing something it doesn’t matter. They keep planting all these little seeds around him but it’d be nice for a writer to actually tell a story with Bishop. There’s a lot to cover.

Seeing Bishop with his gun reminds me of that line by Kurt Russel in Tombstone: "Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens!"
