Nah. Bishop tries to avoid Monet whenever possible because it was hinted she (or her family) are his ancestors.

In the first issue of Cable, it looks like they fought each other in the Quarry (she won, which I guess makes sense) But of course, that was just in a data page

Ahhhh…. The time when Bishop was a compelling character and not a plot device for a redheaded teen and her surrogate father.

I should go back and re-read this just to keep hope alive.

I know right! It's a shame that this very office seems to have forgotten just how much depth there is to the man. Terminator mode is just one aspect of Bishop. He is deep on the philosophical side. Bishop has displayed wisdom of a warrior twice his age and experience. He helped Cable and Wolverine track and understand the movements of Stryfe in Executioners Song. Such a shame that black males are avoided in the way they are. I guess Everett is the one brotha quota for the foreseeable future.

Yeah... too bad. I haven't been enjoying the series and he would have been a nice addition and I would not mind if M took a back seat. I could never get into her. Nothing personal. I wish Windancer was doing more too but she seems to be getting the same treatment as X-Factor with just cameo's. But I guess its something.
