    Default Huntress (Helena Wayne)

Even though she wasn't DC's first character to be named Huntress (the Golden Age Wildcat foe later named Paula Brooks preceded her), I always loved the Helena Wayne version (first introduced in 1977).

It might be a different version but technically we will be getting to see Helena again very soon in Batman/Catwoman.

Actually, she's only the "first Bat-related Huntress" since the Golden Age did give us

from Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe Vol. X (December 1985)

And Helena Wayne did meet up with the Golden Age Huntress at one point.

Helena Wayne appears in King's Bat/Cat series.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

But what "Helena Wayne" are we talking about?

The one from the New52's Earth 2 series?
Some "Helena Wayne" from a possible future?
A "Helena Wayne" from an alternate Earth / alternate universe?

And is she ever going to show up anywhere outside of Tom King's bizarre writings?

As said, the one in Tim King’s book.

But there were hints Paul was already writing Helena as queer in the new 52 series.

I'd love to see the original back on Earth 2 with the rest of the classic JSA!

Helena is a really awesome Huntress and she should be used

But the only way you can use Helena Wayne, daughter of Bruce and Selina, is by either
(a.) have her come from an alternate Earth,
    or
    (b.) time-travel

I'd love to get Helena Wayne back, but getting DC to do it properly is the big problem.

I want to see a Helena that gets to interact with an annoying younger half brother that is Damien.

I think the closest we've come to Helena Wayne and Damian Wayne interacting may have been with the New52 version of Huntress:

But I would also like to see the original Helena Wayne meet up with Damian somehow at some point.
