Huntress (Helena Wayne)

Even though she wasn't DC's first character to be named Huntress (the Golden Age Wildcat foe later named Paula Brooks preceded her), I always loved the Helena Wayne version (first introduced in 1977).

Actually, she's only the "first Bat-related Huntress" since the Golden Age did give us

But there were hints Paul was already writing Helena as queer in the new 52 series.

But the only way you can use Helena Wayne, daughter of Bruce and Selina, is by either

(a.) have her come from an alternate Earth,
or
(b.) time-travel

I'd love to get Helena Wayne back, but getting DC to do it properly is the big problem.

I think the closest we've come to Helena Wayne and Damian Wayne interacting may have been with the New52 version of Huntress:
