Bringing back some of Tony's past armored rivals and foes would definitely be great to see, and as for his friendship with Steve Rogers/Captain America, the reason that doesn't get talked up as much as the times when they end up at each other's throats basically boils down to the old media adage, "If it bleeds, it leads." Basically, conflict sells. I am hoping, though, that the upcoming Captain America/Iron Man team-up (mini)series addresses the ups and downs of their friendship in a way that respects them both as characters and heroes.

That’s exactly what I’m hoping will happen in the Captain America/Iron Man mini series. These guys have had a lot of ups and downs, but they’ve had more ups then downs. It’s just that the downs were pretty big. Hopefully that’s all behind them now and it’s onward and upward.

That's what I'm saying. It's like they forgot that Steve and Tony saved the universe together about a zillion times.

That saying HYDRA loves so much? "Cut off one head, two more will take its place"? Start cutting off more heads, then. Also, cauterize the stumps so they don't regrow. Oh, not a literal hydra? Still valid, I would think.

They've both been dead before multiple times and come back multiple times. Death is more like a vacation for both of them. It's time for their vacations to be over and for both villains to get back to work. But instead we'll probably get some bland story about them fighting boring, generic Hydra and/or AIM.
