It’s that time of the year again! Happy New Year! Let’s hope 2021 is kinder to our Beetle Boys than 2020 was! Give us a comic, team membership somewhere, a live action show/movie! Something! What are you hoping 2021 brings for Dan, Ted and Jaime?

Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

Looks like it may be an ok year for Ted as he and Booster are featured on the Infinite Frontier promo image. So that’s pretty cool. Unfortunately all signs point to DC continuing to ignore Jaime.

So Blue Beetle was originally a knock-off of Green Hornet. Even pretending to be a criminal like GH and leaving an insect calling card.

By the second issue, Dan was given the chainmail look (complete with adorable antennas!). I'm guess this was inspiration for The Tick.

Egyptian mythology was really popular in comics and pulp magazines so I guess they decided to shift the character in that direction with the magical scarab.
