DC posted a picture of Jaime on their social media today to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. When they trot out POC characters who they hardly ever use in the comics it just reeks of hollow pandering.

DC pulled that same stunt during with its Black Heroes earlier. (Not 100% sure, but I don't think DC's queer Heroes where in much of a better position when they were trotted out during Pride.) DC is shown to be pretty bad about this.

Wait, was he the human body in the cartoon show?

Yes, Hector was the body in Ozzy & Drix. Jaime was shown inside of in the Young Justice episode "True Colors" (at the beginning.)

The comic book side of things may have completely forgotten about the character (intentionally ignoring) but at least the marketing people are trying to include him in the DC event.

Not just t shirts but there are multiple sweaters/hoodies and shirts featuring Jaime, both his logo and the character. I got the hoodie and a shirt

If the suit looks any close to that in live-action, I will be a happy camper .

Also the Kord Industries building implies we'll get Ted as a mentor, which is cool .
