Hehe. Zatanna's rabbits got her back.

They're all at a restaurant. Etrigan is getting impatient and tapping on the dining table. Him, Batman and Superman have decided ahead of time what they are going to get but Ollie, Arthur and Barry can't make up their damn minds and are nitpicking random bs and bickering with one another. Kendra is trying to mediate, Dinah already knew what was going to happen and is preemptively rolling her eyes and even Superman is starting to lose his cool. Bruce's hand fell asleep but he won't move it because it might make him look weak.

Ram V goofs around a lot. I'm willing to bet that that's exactly what's going on. Supes probably signaling Bats to cover his part of the bill.

It strikes the perfect balance between fun and serious but most importantly it shows Zatanna use her brain to win the day and not just rely solely on magic.

I think writers need to work on Zatanna's talents as a stage magician/ illusionist. Trickery, sleight of hand, illusions, theatrics etc ... things that don't require actual magic but can be useful in difficult situations.

Also IMO the new attire works just as well as the classic.

I agree. I like this costume. It's very casual, not as dull as her regular JLD attire.

And yeah, I miss the focus on skills that doesn't involve spell casting.

Yeah, don't see her as associated with him as much as others but it's nice looking Zee.

I was reading "Mythology : The DC comics art of Alex Ross." and I found this page where Alex Ross talks about how the album cover for Queen II inspired him to make the most popular group shot of the Justice League he's done.



This reminded me of Justice League Dark (2018) issue #21.



Looks like that album cover for Queen continues to inspire great comic book artists.
