Well, I love the DC history of the JLA Dinah being the original Black Canary in the bronze age. I'll cop to not loving legacies, though.

Honestly, it's DC wanting a Black Canary in the JSA and the JLA.

It also adds some fun stuff to play with when/if BC gets a solo.

I understand you not being fond of legacies, but it's a strong part of the DNA of the DC universe for a long time now.

Batman: Urban Legends #6. In the story setting up Deathstroke Inc in a classic Birds of Prey move Oracle sends Black Canary on a mission after an organization called T.R.U.S.T that bought a lot of Batman gear off Joker during Joker War. Black Canary infiltrates, gets recruited, and learns that her mother apparently worked for this secret never before heard of organization. Black Canary also learns that she will be working with Deathstroke.

Oh and they have something to do with Talia Al Ghul

Well you don’t have to worry long. It’s just in this one issue and then the rest of this story is in Deathstroke Inc.

Figured it was going to happen sooner rather than later.

Also, is she wearing fishnets under a dress ?

Im glad that Dinah is a legacy hero again, it's been one of my favorite aspects of the character.

They didnt state she was part of the WWII JSA so they could easily play with timelines.

A book I also have no interest in buying.

    I'm sorry, but I won't support a Deathstroke title.

I can't forgive him for this:

That’s fair, he’s really only a villain for hire to me. I personally like his kid Ravanger more.

My hope is that this is really a black Canary book in disguise but it’s not going on any immediate lists.

Yeah. He also statutorily raped Terra. I wanted a Black Canary book but this is what we're getting. Ugh.

I'll give it a shot. I can always drop the book if the concept doesn't prove interesting.

Yeah, let's just drop anything or everything interesting about a character for no valid story telling reasons beyond the inflexible nostalgia of the reader.

They've got me for at least an issue because of that Adam Hughes cover, but I do try and give any book with Dinah a shot. Hoping they sell me on this.
