It's looking good. I like the new Bug.
It reads almost like an early Birds of Prey, which makes me want to see the two mini-groups team up. But without Harley.
Just Babs, Helena and Dinah.
Maybe throw in Nightwing to even things out.

Maybe not Nightwing, though. He's a little too much straight man, and a little too much like Beetle, powers/abilities wise, IMO. Someone meta might make for a more interesting balance, since neither Beetle nor Booster have actual powers.

I've always thought Element Woman would work really well alongside Booster and BB.

I never thought I'd hear about Kooey Kooey Kooey again LOL.
I'm loving this series. I was worried about Jurgens' writing but it is exactly what I wanted out of a Blue & Gold book. And Sook's art is phenomenal.
I really hope this does well so we can get more.

I want to believe that Booster acting this superficial is a plot point that Jurgens will address. Over the years, Booster has evolved. Yeah, he still craves and enjoys the spotlight, but he's not been portrayed this shallow. I want to believe Jurgens knows the character well enough to not leave him this much of a cariciture.

Ah, but most of that growth I feel was following Infinite Crisis, and was written by Geoff Johns. I don't know if Jurgens, although he is obviously the OG, really has ever written a more mature Booster.

I HOPE it will be addressed. At the moment, the series looks like it is still establishing the characters. It's still enjoyable, but I hope soon it will leave off reminding us who Blue and Gold are and get more into the story... Still, new readers need what they need.
