Well, knowing Loki, he cocks it up. And as a result, the lead researcher, Dr. Brashear gets doused with waves upon waves of antimatter radiation transforming him into America's Blue Marvel.

Meanwhile back at the TVA headquarters, Loki, his hands upturned in a gesture of total innocence, was saying, "...whoops.."

We then travel back to present-day America to see Adam as a silver-haired tenured professor at Cornell University.

Don't think we'll see Adam until Captain Marvel 2. I suspect his story will be mostly cosmic in nature until he or the Ultimates get their own film.

What are people expecting from the Eternals btw? Will we see Hyperion?

With 4/5 Ultimates having debuted or soon to be, he's almost a certainty imo. I'm thinking the next big bad will be Galactus, and Adam's focus will be largely cosmic in nature.

The Ultimates & Squadron Supreme? I'll be a happy man if we get both Adam Brashear & Marcus Milton in the MCU.

Speaking of top tier level powers.

Monica Rambeau has finally gained her comic book powers. If similar, her powers will easily surpass Captain Marvel's already incredible abilities.

I honestly don't see how the two are one and the same, other than the purely cosmetic stuff. Now if they establish that Monica is a scientist with antimatter based powers who is strong enough to move planets, then I'm there with you. But just because she has a blue outfit and eyes that occasionally glow with blue visible light...well, I'm going to need much more than that.

That's right, I forgot that Makkari was being revamped as a black woman. Interesting. Makkari was the Eternal equivalent of Mercury. Mercury was the messenger of the gods. The "gopher." He was also the patron god of thieves. And yes, he was fleet of foot. So they've made Makkari a black woman? Interesting, indeed.

I would have preferred them making Zuras and Azura/Thena black. But that's just me.

How do the Eternals fit into mainline 616 stories at this point? Their most recent run hasn't been uploaded to MU yet, so I'm outta the loop.

Does anyone else get the impression that, with few exceptions(X-Men, F4, Sentry, Spider-Man), the last decade or so of Marvel Comics has been written with the MCU in mind? I've gone all the way back to 2012, when Marvel began it's Marvel Now/All-New reboot, and a lot of what they've published between now & then seems adaptable to Film or Television(Infinity, Secret Wars). Additionally, a ton of characters who started getting pushed(Carol Danvers, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales, Loki, Monica, Nova, America Chavez, etc) have either already been featured in the MCU, or are now rumored to be.

Oh, I'd say it's been at least 15 yrs if not longer. The movies have been influencing the comics both directly and indirectly probably since the Rami Spiderman/Singer X-Men films. There's both good things and bad things about it. On one hand, the comics aren't allowed to just be comics that are unique on to themselves anymore and unessessary changes are made to comics. On the other, some B and C level characters get used a little more or even get a miniseries once it's announced that they might show up in a TV show or film.

I'd absolutely agree. I maintain that Sentry was killed in KiB as he is a non-MCU powerhouse that can die without to much controversy. I'm still fuming about it.

He's died once already, of course he's gonna die again
