I think the true insult to injury is when Reptil will inevitably be placed in a story with Miles and Kamala.

Hey, it’s not their fault Sam lives all the way in Arizona.
I haven't read it or much of KiB tbh. I did not he was guest-starring though. I was making more of a joke about Marvel's tendency to pair a third character in Sam's place iwth Miles and Kamala in other media. Squirrel Girl in those Avengers Orientations Scholastic books, Spider-Gwen in the Ultimate Alliance 3 game, hell some of the Outlawed promo art had Riri with the two.
Tin-Foil hat on my part but I can't help but feel like Sam as a whole has gotten kind of minimized due to the company trying to distance themselves from Loeb.

Riri at least made sense there, as she's pretty much the trio's Sixth Ranger. The Champions seem to have scaled back to just those four and Viv Vision now.

The spider is always on the hunt.
Considering that Sam's a Human Rocket, that should never be a deterrent to use Sam/for Sam to show up for anyone. He could get to Miles and/or Kamala faster than Miles and Kamala could get to each other.
I love Reptil (and I'm not only thankful that Bendis snuck him back from the dead but that he's got a mini on the way, too, after all these years), but that would be an "ouch" for me if it happened.

Reptil probably isn't a fan of Spider-Men after Peter mistook him (in Pterodactyl form) for a symbiote dragon! I can't see him and Miles being friends.
