Considering Selim has Billie in his clutches at the end of this issue . . . I am seriously hoping it doesn't end the way I think it will.

That would be way too dark a turn for the book. Miles' stakes never seem to get that high. If that happened, he would end up a completely different character.
I also think there's too much of Miles in Selim for it to go that far.
Also, I really like Selim as a character.

I don't know. He just seems like a more twisted version of Kaine to me, only from Miles' DNA.

I want to believe that they won't dare to do that either. Something tells me "Glurp" will sacrifice himself to stop Selim, but I'm worried about what kind of consequences this story will end up for Miles. I mean, the most clear ones would be the crimes commited by his clones being blamed on him, but I don't want anyone from his family dying.

Fair points, and technically, "Glurp's" actual name is Shift, such as it is. That said, yeah, I think the worst that'll come of it will be Miles taking the fall for his clones' crimes, murder sadly included. Then again, the same thing happened to Peter because of Kaine in the 90s Clone Saga and it was Kaine ultimately wanting to protect Peter that had him confess to the murders and explain away his fingerprints as a form of biomodification Kaine did on himself to better frame Peter (he intended Ben Reilly, but since they all had the same DNA . . .). I could kind of see something similar happen with Miles.

Pretty cool design, and for what it's worth, I do enjoy Miles's banter and camaraderie with Steve a great deal whenever Saladin Ahmed writes them together.
