Realistically I say people who are obsessed with control don't drink. They can, just not drunk, and the safest way is to not drink. He can hold it in hand for show, take a bit of sip, then dump the rest in a nearby potted plant. I don't know if this has happened but I can see him doing it in a gala or other public events Bruce Wayne attended.

Oh yeah he fake drink in Batman Begins too.

I think he can drink a glass for dinner or entertaining guests, or when relaxing with people like Alfred, Selina, Clark or Dick, but even then not much more than that. I don't think I've ever seen him drunk. It won't be realistic to his character anyway.
This.

Batman is a lot of things. He's a control freak. He's a genius, a master tactician, and a world class athlete in peak human condition.

None of those things suggests he drinks Alcohol. Whether it's because it's a legit poison... or because it dulls senses and body that he spent a lifetime forging... It's just not something that he would do. Maybe the sip and dump, maybe early in his career to document the effects?? but He's not the type to just sit back and chill with his buddies 'just because'. It takes away his edge, and that Batsignal could light up at any moment. He'd be like a pilot or cop... except he never really goes OFF duty. He's constantly vigil and always ready for action.

Superman is another one that there's just no point to alcohol. He wouldn't feel it, so why pay for it. unless he wants Clark Kent to be seen as too ditzy to ever be Superman... it'd be part of the act. Only difference is that he would actually finish the drink and then just pretend to be drunk

1) What is this 'quiet winter night' thing.... Batman's not known for chilling at home. He's always doing SOMETHING...

2) That is true, but it was also shown as drastically out of character. They joked about all the 'fake drinking' and Alfred was lamenting how empty the family wine cellar was now. It was a Bruce Wayne who had given up Batman, training, detecting, and was just the billionaire playboy at that point.
