It's kind of funny to think Jessica started out having no idea who Sinestro even was :P.
I was inferring things from the solicit's description. Now I understand that solicits can sensationalize or talk about things misleading ways, so if there isn't forced drama over Jessica joining the Yellow Corp/using their powers temporarily, then I guess kudos on that. But the Jessica turning yellow isn't the only source of apprehension I'm feeling towards the book. There are other things that aren't really gelling with me. No offense meant.
I never take offense at any response to the work. You're not required to like any of it. All responses to art that are based on experiencing the art are equally valid, positive or negative.
I'm just pointing out, whatever you expect, you won't get that.
This is something else.

I think it's a splendid ideas for Jessica to become a YL/join Sinistro Corps because there are already waaaay too many human GLs.
How many human Yellow Lanterns/ YLs are there?!?
And just because Jessica has become a YL does not automatically equate to having "went bad".
Who says wielding the power of fear can not be used to do good and be a hero.... It's basically Batman's creed so why not a heroic YL?
I even don't mind if Jessica is misguided by Sinestro for now until much later when she finds her own heroic path as a YL.
This is 'slightly' off-topic, but in related news, my first comic - Forsaken- will be published by Second Sight in September, and solicitations are up in Diamond Previews (here, in case people are curious: https://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/JUL211924).
Is this the first step in eventually writing Green Lantern? I wish!
Arisia on there would have been sweet
