Nah fam, that CGI suit ain't gonna cut it this time. Looks better than it did 10 years ago but that's kind of a low praise. With Martian Manhunter it made sense to go CGI, but there's no need with GL during "normal" scenes. Leave that for the lightshow scenes. Hope they go full practical for the TV show and the reboot.

Yeah, ideally they should just have a physical suit with some CGI touches.

That said, both Hal & Guy no doubt had extensive experience getting into fights thanks to Hal's competitiveness and Guy's mouth

So apparently Jeff Lemire was going to do 5G GL (per his sub stack) as a horror book. But the more he worked on it the less enthusiasm he felt because of what a mess DC was behind the scenes, and he bailed again when Didio got fired.

Sounds like something I'd definitely pick up if it was a Black Label/Elseworlds type story; not sure how well mainline continuity GL would work as a horror franchise though...
