on a completely unrelated note it appeared for a half a second that Alpha Flight was getting their own forum and I was ready to riot. I used to always say that Green Lantern if anything needed its own sub-forum, there was a time when it deserved it, not so much now but fingers crossed maybe someday soon this corner of the DCU will rise in popularity to rival the bat, hey there was a minute during the height of the Johns run where it did, different corps shirts everywhere. Don't know what happened but the Alpha Flight, which I loved back in the Byrne days, sub-forum has disappeared like it never existed, maybe it was an April Fools joke that I didn't realize.

At this point the Earth bound Green lanterns are bigger than the Bat Family. It would be cool to see Batman and his sidekicks expand into space with their own corps because eventually they will come into conflict with the Green Lantern Corps. and then there will probably be the inevitable expansion of other corps like a Superman Corps, Wonder Woman Corps, Flash corps, Cyborg Corps, Plastic Man corps etc...

The artist really made Alan look dope, but also made me realize just how Hal-Kyle look pretty basic next to what follows but still look great. There are no clunker GL designs in that lineup. It seems like the designs need to be more and more intricate as we get more modern. There's something to love in the sleek older designs but the new ones look cool too.

Hmm, this makes me want an Earth-3 GL series where the corps is a galactic space mafia.

Alan's suit can look pretty good under the right artist.

He's on another Earth, but since the DCU is much more Multiversal these days, I think that would mean that Tai Pham can show up whenever the story requires him to.
