There's no way to make her fit without the Multiverse. That book wasn't designed to fit into the main DCU continuity

Not sure how you can reconcile his grandmother and Abin Sur being active together.

Yeah, but you're acting like Hal going to sleep for ten years is somehow unreasonable when it's literally the experience of every GL fan who wants someone other than Hal leading a solo book. This is the kind of **** that keeps the GL fandom torn apart. Hal's been riding high for twenty years now. If he goes to sleep for five while the others finally get their dues, that's not the end of the world especially considering the strength of the Johns and Morrison runs (the latter of which being a helluva swan song for Hal as of right now). I love Hal, but I also want to read stories about the other GLs and it's cool they're finally getting some play.
