Isn't that what separates Vixen from Animal Man, that he can take on the animals of any planet he's on while Mari can only take on earth's, it would be vest if they keep to it.

I'm pretty sure all red avatars channel the animals of the planet they're on. that rule works the best, across the board, when it comes to the idea if alien animals and the red because it restricts them to earth animals but it leaves the door open to cosmic adventures and otherworldly abilities in a non-schlocky way.

Vixen has such a weird history. Many people like her (her and Zantanna are like top picks to add to the Justice League) and I'm sure DC really likes her as well (they gave her a short animated tv show although very lackluster), they make sure to include her in splash shots, and let her star in a new anthology. Even though Animal Man can be considered more popular than her and has more history, she has still showed up more in comic and outside media.

I know by why Cyborg was chosen for the Justice League and while I do like Cyborg enough I do wish Vixen could have been there with him. Like how both she and Black Lightning were on the League in the past. When will it take for DC to start pushing her more.

Not to mention her powers can be pretty unique without copying from other superhero which I'm not really a fan over. Also don't know if I'm a fan of the red, but that's another topic.

Correct. All Red users have the same ability but have different ways of expression it.

Also, as far as I know Animal Man is no longer able to mimic animals in the universe since the Yellow Men or Anasi repaired his connection to the Red.

LOL, I'm pretty sure I didn't say a thing. i thought it would have been interesting to see her shot the acid-like substance from her hands into someone's face. Like when she took out Geo-Force.

I do wonder who Vixen would root for in the whole "Godzilla vs. Kong" thing. Maybe she'd be neutral. And I would love it if the opening theme from the 2014 Godzilla movie was Vixen's superhero theme:
