Yeah, it never made any sense to me. Even some of those Lego games showed Vixen using more animals than Injustice 2 ever did. I have no idea why NetherRealm Studios felt the need to nerf her like that.

Red Arrow or whatever his name is will never be that lucky. Plus I don't see any chemistry there. On another note, I do wonder what would happen if Vixen mimicked Detective Chimp's detective skills.

If we're to actively matching Vixen interracially, I'd rather she get paired up with an asian man. the black/white pairing is super common in american media. it's become kinda cliche, with it's own tropes and everything, to the point it's messaging very much gives me superficial pandering often times. black woman/asian man has the added layer of commentary by way of its mere existence considering under western or eurocentric sexual/romantic standards they are the least desired demographics. plus, it could play off the history of cultural exchange/synergy between black and asian culture. the issue tho is DC (unsurprisingly) doesn't have many adult asian male heroes, at least not many that have been active in the last decade or so. two closest to Vixen in profile are Connor Hawk and Richard Dragon (I would retcon Richard Dragon to be full asian personally ngl)

I second that. I always prefer my Vixen a little on the thicker side (because the thin model beauty "standard" is very much a eurocentric construct) but she definitely has the face and frame for Vixen.

She does indeed look like a real-life Mari.

Don't know if she can act but she definitely looks very close to how I always envisioned Vixen in my imagination.
