Well, let's assume she does get a book afterwards. That would be great, but at the same time some people would surely wonder if her sexuality change was the only reason she would get that book in the first place. Did DC not see Vixen, the way she was, as being worthy of getting a bigger spotlight unless they changed her preferences. I think questions like that are not meant to attack any creator, let alone community, they're legit questions to ask based on how precisely the presumed change is being implemented by DC.

Unless Tee Franklin ends up writing a Vixen solo, I'm not sure how serious DC is taking this.

What I wanna say, if the writer allows Vixen to mimic the Kryptonian powers of Krypto or Streaky. I'm going to act a fool on the Vs. Boards.

They're not common. Certainly not like super-strength or flight or pew-pews.

The Legion setting had Gates, and, as you say, various magical characters like Raven, Misfit, Traci 13, White Witch and Kid Devil have been shown teleporting. I think 'Snapper' Carr could teleport, for a hot second, after some meta-gene-unlocking nonsense after Invasion!, but that's even more not-canon-anymore than Superman being the only Kryptonian or Barry Allen being dead.

Yeah, probably. And in animation, John Stewart was her boyfriend in "Justice League Unlimited", B'Wanna Beast was her boyfriend/fiancee in an episode of "Batman: Brave and the Bold" and she started dating Adam Macalester in those "Vixen" animated webisodes.

What I find interesting about this pic, she casually rearranges the molecules of her clothing into her costume.

For the record, I think she needs a new look...that hair style has ran it's course.

I actually kinda prefer her having the fade, it forces artists to at least have to attempt to draw her with black hair texture. I'm only really tired of the Halle Berry/Jamie Lee Curtis, in my lil 2 and a half decades on this planet i have met far more black women with a fade or a baldie than that cut; especially nowadays. if they do change it (which i would be bummed about) i gotta agree with Rac7d, it needs to be another hairstyle that emphasizes the natural look.

I enjoyed it for what it was, I maintain its the best purely Vixen-centric story to date (which is a extremely low bar in all fairness), but after hearing Throne's opinions on Vixen's powers I'm more than fine with DC not continuing if it meant he was gonna be at the helm. I really don't like when writers fundamentally misunderstand this is a shared universe and don't know how or don't want to work within that framework, and that was the vibe I was getting from some of his remarks. no shade to 'em, i have been enjoying his Green Lantern, just different stroke is all.
