Kamala Khan: Ms. Marvel Appreciation 2021

Which is hillarious if true because it must mean Feige fucking despises Perlmutters Inhumans push. Plus one of the Eternals writers said that Hawaii is off limits for the MCU specifically because the Inhumans show was set there. Wonder if that means Kamala's origin is getting a comic retcon as well if that's how far they're willing to go.

OK but surely Feige isn't petty enough to exact revenge on fictional characters? That are also created by Jack Kirby and/or Stan Lee (depending on who you ask) and have a long rich history and prestigious awards?

I feel like both of her MCU costumes so far are needlessly overcomplicated. The best Ms Marvel costume so far was in the Avengers game - basically her comic look with a bit of a floral pattern on the sides. Perfection.

There are new rumors as to the villains/nature of Kamala's powers in the new show.

I know Feige wants to get as far from Inhumans as possible (Marvel literally has a ban from setting things in Hawaii because the Inhumans show was) but to dig up spoilers:

Adam Destine and Elalyth met in and lived together in southern Turkey in the Middle East, had a lot of children, and Adam traveled across all Asia during the Middle Ages (Elalyth couldn't leave her magical valley in the Zagros Mountains, so Adam wouldn't move out of Eurasia permanently, and he would leave only to visit his children or on vacations of sorts)... it would make a lot of sense fpr some their children to live in Pakistan and have children of their own

Yeah, her costumes are surprisingly hi-spec compared to her traditional look.

It's probably the same situation as Spider-Man. In the comics, Kamala and Peter both make their own costumes, but in the MCU Peter's main suits came from Iron Man. Kamala's likewise is probably provided by Carol, hence the upgrade. Note that the one in her show has trainers instead of boots, which shows that it's made from whatever she had to hand. The movie costume is clearly professionally made.

Ms Marvel is way more developed than Shuri.

Aside from being Black Panther-what else did she do before that movie. Ms Marvel has over 20 trades that says Inhuman.

Also how hypocritical for Fiege to behave the same way as the guy he replaced. Folks forget Ike kept Black Panther and Carol Danvers on ice.

Logic would say leave things as they are and show everyone how to do it with the Inhumans. And if the usual suspects get mad about it. Let them. At least the Inhumans tried to develop POC and 1 of them have tv shows and their own books.

As mentioned minor characters get hit with synergy the hardest. Aesthetic changes come easily. Origin changes seems to take a big order. They haven't undone any of the mutants retconned by Ike even with the big HoxPoX push. I'm not saying it can't happen but it feels unlikely especially with no real benefit to be held. Being Inhuman doesn't make or break Kamala so in that same logic it's unlikely changing her suddenly boost her popularity. Plus they already have games and cartoons with her as Inhuman.
