Anybody know what's going on with the Grand Director: 50's - early 60's "commie-smasher" Cap? Was he active during the civil rights era? If so, what were his activities?
From what I recall, "Commie Smasher" was put in suspended animation along with his Bucky due to the recreated Super-Soldier Serum making them mentally and emotionally unstable and thus increasingly uncontrollably violent and aggressive, so he most likely wouldn't have been active in that period.

When are we getting a new writer?
I don't seem to like anything Coates writes....
Teenage versions of Spider-Man, Black Widow and Captain America are going on an Amazing Fantasy.

Why do people add a "d" to Steve Rogers's name? I saw a thread someone started here and I just read it in an article about the new What If...? series. I have also seen it in many other places.
Yeah, Roger to Rodger is a common error. That D is silent after all. I've seen people call the kid in my avatar (a character from The Beano) Rodger the Dodger, which should be Roger.

It's from Planet-Size X-Men, but I'm pretty sure this scene is set at the old Xavier Institute (renamed the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning by Wolverine in his "screw you, Cyclops!" phase). That said, if Captain America and Cyclops are finally getting past the old tensions . . . that's a plus for me.
