I just read Excalibur 26, Rachel appears a lot in this issue, encouraging Betsy to continue the fight for Otherworld and I suppose linking with Knights of X, have you read it? What is your opinion?

I couldn't be happier to see her back again with Excalibur. I echo other sentiments. She needs to ditch that horrible X-Factor costume.

Her costume has grown on me, and depending on the artist it doesn't look bad for me. But I do think something sleeker would be best for her if she is running rescue missions in the Otherworld. That outfit is a little baggy to be hustling in.

I can appreciate that it's grown on you. I was hoping it would do the same for me but honestly the only thing I am digging about the costume is the hair. I hate to say it but I miss the days of teh trench coat. I'd even go for teh classic phoenix costume she wore all to briefly but it wont happen

Costumes are discussed a lot on threads… But I liked Rachel, the tough cookie from the ol’ days and the old costume suited her perfectly.

Tbh the classic Phoenix costume in those colors are too Jean for me. If Rachel is going to wear the same costume I prefer the short lived blue and gold one. Otherwise I would prefer a sleeker version of her legacy outfit.

I tend to disagree. I think her taking the red phoenix costume and making it her own. Reclaiming it from the Dark Phoenix that Jean became. I think it looked great on her and was excellent story telling.

Speaking of costumes for Rachel, I've actually NEVER seen this unused design by Arthur Adams. I guess this would have been her Asgardian Wars costume...
