It might be a typical TVA weapon (Sylvie and the huntress have similar ones), but I think Loki literally remade it with magic and made it fiery.

I think he just made it fiery. Like i said, he had a sword on his back in some shots of the trailers. I mean, i guess it's possible those shots come after this one, but why would he have the scabbard on in this scene if so?



Sure looks like the same sword to me, and the the scabbard matches the shoulder straps seen from the front. Though, all this means is that it's a weapon he carries around for a good bit of the show and seems to consider his, otherwise he would not have a scabbard. Doesn't say anything about what the sword is, or where he got it.

So i actually watched the trailer thing that shot came from, and another thing I find interesting is that there is some dialogue form Mobius that says "I can't offer you salvation, but maybe i can offer you something better" so that says to me Loki is at least giving the appearance of some regret for past actions, and Mobius is trying to offer him a way to do better. I presume this comes from the scene in the screening room where we see Mobius showing Loki clips from previous movies. (and future movies, from this particular Loki's perspective)

Did you notice that he's holding the Tesseract, but nobody pays any attention to him? The timeline on the screen is also intact. Either he's fallen out of the boundaries of time, or he's using magic (or hidden powers of the Stone) and possibly learns that the timeline wasn’t broken at all and he was manipulated by TVA to conceal their own crimes against time.

yeah, i am not sure what to make of the scene of him holding the Tesseract. like, he's wearing the jumpsuit, so it's after he got captured, and I presume had the tesseract taken away, but before he got the suit he wears later.... so... huh. But we also have to keep in mind that not every Loki shown is the main one, and that could include ones wearing the TVA outfits, too. Maybe this is another one that got captured afterward?

I presume he was assisting TVA thanks to Mobius but then fell out of grace and was arrested and convicted again (when he's carried down the corridor by the guards he looks absolutely desperate as if something terrible has happened, and he's wearing the jumpsuit, unlike the first time he was brought to TVA).

May also just be that he tried to make a break for it after that guy got vaporized, and then they hauled him back. Still unclear how he would have gotten the tesseract in that scenario, but still. Trailer shots are all out of order and so it's hard to determine exactly what's going on, and the time travel and alternate Lokis aspect just makes that harder. Guess we'll see soon!

and oooooohhhh! I've been waiting for a Kid Loki FOREVER..... And his coat comes off and everything... they got Loki's shin guards and belts painted the wrong colour tho. but guess i can fix that.

They've probably been there a while, i was just looking to see if there was anything to pad my order to maybe offset the outrageous shipping costs to Canada. Tho i see it is available at the Disney Store so.... I dunno, i can check there next week, i will be vaccinated at least so i guess i can risk the mall.

Gosh, I can't stop thinking I probably won’t ever be able to get them... I hope for a review or at least some closeups!

I'm just glad I had a Disney Store near me, shipping from the US to Canada can be pretty ludicrous sometimes, it's often cheaper to get stuff shipped from like Australia or some place than it is from right next door in the US.

I can probably take some better photos later this afternoon or tomorrow. He looks pretty good, but for some reason, the staff and crown are more yellow than gold, and as mentioned before the colour of his shin guards and belts are wrong, green when they should be brown. so i think i will order some good metallic gold gilding paint, leaning towards this kind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VYAmd7xa-U (which i was thinking of getting anyway for some projects) or maybe even faux gold leaf, then seal it in with a coat or varnish or resin, and some brown acrylic paint and giving him a bit of a paint touchup. I mean, i just want to change some details, not a complete do-over with primer and stuff, but he's just going to be sitting on a shelf, so if it's got some adhesion problems, not a disaster. I think i will take his coat off, cus i have the ArtFX statue which has the coat.

Looks like it's the MCU Avengers costume based on the silhouette.

Took him out of the packaging, and ripped his arms off, to take the coat off. I decided Kid Loki was a better scale fit for the larger statues so he's just gonna go hang with them.




But yeah, it's not a bad figure, but i have quibbles with the paint, so i think I will whip out my paints to redo the bits that should be brown, and get that gilding paint and redo the crown and staff (tho i prefer Gram cus the statue has the staff) and also, once i got the arms on, i think the sleeves should be lighter. I think some dry brushing with some light lime green should so the trick there.

It has been raining here the past 3 days, when it stops, i can take them outside to get some photos in some nice light.

This one makes some leaps that I don't think are overly supported by evidence. Has there been ANY real evidence of the "Lady Loki is going to be the new Loki" claim? I do think the TVA will be the main villain, though. There's decent evidence for that, what with the on-the-spot execution, the ominousness of Miss Minutes, and their role in basically eliminating free will. Those are bad things.

Here's the new (today!) trailer, entitled "Chaos". Not a whole lot new there, but I think its main purpose is to communicate tone. Seems like it will be a bit more action-focused than WandaVision, but also more invested in the great MCU than F&TWS.

Nice! seems like the TVA has a good bit of control over Loki, they seemd to manage him darting for freedom without any trouble at all. Also between that and the interview with the director, they seem to be playing up the anti-hero aspect where he's got both good and bad in him, so it will be interesting to see where they go with that, but it's good to see it won't be a flat characterization without depth. Also, where Loki says the 'bit of both' thing, he's wearing a black turtleneck, and it reminded me of some concept art shown aaaaaaages ago of Loki in the 1970s, which is an era we haven't seen yet in the trailers (and also, had a different logo at that point) :



so, yeah, maybe related.

And yeah Emergency Awesome sometimes has some good tips and all, but he often states speculation and conjecture as fact, so you have to be careful to not take what he says too seriously. No problem at all with speculation and saying what you think might be happening, but you should frame it as such, not state it like it's fact.
