I think it speaks volumes about the show that an unpowered civilian who was only in a handful of episodes in the last season actually outshone the main cast who had been around since pretty much the beginning of the series.

I think it's because she was basically a jock in a world of nerds.

I'm genuinely not sure lol. The quotes on there could either mean he's back at his Patreon or he's back at Amazing MJ, I dunno.

His Instagram bio lists his current projects including the upcoming ASM Chameleon one-shot and MJ, but he could be just listing that series cause he's proud of it. I guess we'll see if nothing happens or if something gets solicited haha.

It's kind of weird. Like, it seems like he's advertising exclusive stuff on his Patreon but also might be working on an MJ book...? But I feel like because of NDA's he probably wouldn't have gotten to announce it like this before Marvel did.

I have a feeling they might bring the series back just to conclude the MJ/Mysterio/movie stuff so Spencer can just focus on Kindred.

Granted I think there are still some actual finished issues in the can that were canceled that I'm wondering if we'll ever see in the light of day.

I can't help but feel the stuff were are getting now is, frankly, unnecessary filler so Spencer can pad out his run. Is it fun, sure. Does it serve a purpose in the overall established run narrative, not really. So, yeah, MJ could go about her own business for a while with no problems.
