(*Facepalm*) What a fool I am! You are right! I totally forgot about this from the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics. I even mentioned for months back then that I had wished for the spider to bit MJ too! It's getting hard to follow so many stories, or versions of the story.

Completely understandable. With all the events Bendis has been involved in, it can be a real chore keeping track of everything

One of the classic Ann-Margaret appearances was on The Flintstones: Meet Ann Margock
You also never hear dirt about her. Here is a great Ann-Margaret story. She got a letter from a five year old boy who saw her in the movie Bye, Bye Birdie. She asked if he was coming to her concert in Iowa? He wrote back he isn’t because of he family cannot afford it: She sent 4 front row seat tickets to the family, and met with them backstage. That kid and Ann-Margaret became life long friends and at his wedding the entertainment was Ann-Margaret.

Have we gotten an adaptation of Mary Jane who has made it to the altar? The closest we got was a water clone...who was crazy (well atleast during the proposal...I'd hope that the real Mary Jane wouldn't jump off of building to prove a point)

INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, both Peters and both MJs got married.

The big speech MJ gives:
"My husband, Peter Parker, was an ordinary person. He always said that it could be anyone behind the mask. He was just the kid who happened to get bit. He didn't ask for his powers. But he chose to be Spider-Man... My favorite thing about Peter is that he made us each feel powerful. We all have powers of one kind or the other, and in our own way we are all Spider-Man. And we are all counting on you."

Likewise they are married in several videogames of the 90s, and in the 2000 Activision video-game.

That was nice. I always did think that MJ would keep her name after marriage and Peter wouldn't be that insistent on it, but it was cool to have that in any case.

Into the Spider-Verse is the only adaptation of Spider-Man that pays tribute to the history of the character and all the different changes in its history. It had something for everyone.

And thank goodness we don't have to settle for the Fox botch of the marriage.

Considering MJ's relatively minor role in the grand scheme of ItSV, I think it's fine.
