I think she was laughing at how Peter perceives himself as cool despite being such a dork and how others kind of perceive him .

He does it to save lives, and it' not s*xual unlike MJ's movie scenes would be.Also he's okay w/ her having to kiss someone else for the job so he's not unresonable.

He doesn't have to dress in a ridiculously skintight costume to save lives, yet he does, if he can dress like that and show off his ass in ridiculous poses for no reason, then at least MJ can show a nipple or two to pay their bills .

Kinda double standard-y, but I do think MJ dealing w/ the fact Spider-man is shipped w/ everyone and that he might have to kiss someone for a job is more inteeresting than the other way around since Peter has dealt w/ all this while MJ's insecurities haven't been explored as much.

Well, who Spidey is shipped with in-universe isn't talked about, so we're not gonna see MJ being insecure about that.

This is also a two way street, same way MJ may not be happy that Spidey gets shipped with other women, Peter may not like that MJ is gonna get shipped with other men, and hell, since it's probably known that MJ is dating Peter, there are probably people talking **** about her dating the guy who destroyed his own company, or at least that she's not dating someone who's more famous like another actor.

I also think that Spidey is shipped w/ MJ in 616, and people tease Peter about it.

I'm not really sure MJ is really shipped with Spidey in-universe, they're not seen talking with each other on public that much, and whenever they are, no comments are made about it.

She probably gets shipped more with Stark, JMS' run had that story where a paparazzi took a picture of her getting into his tower and it was talked like she had an affair with Stark, plus she started to work for him during All New All Different, so again, if anything she'd be shipped with Stark, but that's not talked about either lol.

So yeah, whatever shippers are doing in-universe, we don't know, unless Kamala made a comment about it I guess.

Hell, Otto is even the reason George was killed, maybe that was to drive Gwen away from Peter, it certainly made her move away and go to London.
