It's crazy even with everything that was said in the previous thread I still don't know if M is African(Black) or Maghreb / Berber or a mix

I'm still a bit hazy on the details myself, Silverfang probably knows the answer to question.

You act as though there aren't Black Maghreb / Berber.

Based on her original run in the 90's, she was intended to be Black from the onset. PAD thought differently and much of his run is at odds with her original presentation, which creates contention. Similarly her father's depiction over the years further complicates things. She's almost certainly mixed to some extent(in that her father and mother have distinct national/cultural lineages), but I think she's definitely Black.

Has she did anything the last decade?

Peter David should be running the X-Books.

Hickman is doing very interesting things in the X-line right now and his Monet is great.

Big disagree on that, he should be kept FAR away from them...

That's your point of view. I personally think he did a very good job overall when he wrote x-books. Afterwards, I can understand that you don't like his take on Monet but please don't judge all the talent of an author by how he wrote one character

Nobody does that. Many here think he did a poor job on almost everyone he wrote in X-Factor. lol Monet is just talked about more in her own thread.

I mean X-corps is a given but I really hope she'll make an appearance somewhere before that. Reading X-factor with Lorna and Terry's somewhat tense interactions in the last issue and with Rachel part of the team, I can't help feeling like Monet would be the glue that hold them together and exactly what the team is missing.
