Let's not mention the relationship with Hank in Mighty Avengers.

To be fair, Jocasta does have Janet's brain patterns, and didn't he think the real Jan was dead at the time?

How did Jan come back from the dead?

Doesn't matter if Jan was thought dead or not...they are divorced and able to date whoever they want. Now the brain pattern thing does make it suspect...was it Jo being attracted to him or Jan's brain patterns from that time. And as Jarvis pointed out in that story it is like she is involved with her grandfather.

I fanwanked at the time that Jan's little antennae trigger at the moment of her impending death and download her engrams (a thing Pym totally does, see, Ultron, Jocasta) into the nearest compatible storage medium, which, since they are tuned to frequency 'bug radio,' was all the insects within a mile or so. And so Jan's mind survives, piecing itself together as a swarm of insects in a motley confused hive-mind (muddled by all the conflicting insect instincts) until she can convince her friends that this crazy swarm of bugs is actually Janet and get herself downloaded into a new body (either a clone of her old one, or a robot body like Jocasta's).

But they came up with something else involving the microverse, I guess.

That would perhaps be an interesting mini-series or one-shot, someone travels to the microverse and finds out that Janet is a big deal there, with statues in her honor and a day of celebration, because she spend so long as their premiere 'alien superhero,' being kinda like their Superman. She finds it all a bit much, but does have a lot of friends down there, and goes to visit on occasion (or perhaps has a way for the little aliens to be able to contact her if they need her heroic intervention!). "Quick, use the Wasp-Signal!"

Hank still loved Jan despite their break up. That's why he took over the Wasp mantle after her "death", to honour her. It actually seems odd that he then switched to Giant-Man some time before she came back.

Actually, she never died. Wasp shrunk herself so small, she ended up stranded in the Microverse.
When she was finally able to send an emergency distress signal, the Avengers found her & brought her back home:

So Thor sent her to the Micronauts Quantum realm in the comics? How did she survive, let alone come back??

Wasp will be in the Tech-On Avengers series. Sadly sounds like a small part.

    Because she'll be depowered, apparently.

If you've seen the announcement for the new Superman cartoon, I think Lois Lane there looks more like Janet than her usual self. They gave her short hair.
