I'm bummed all that Hal teasing in the Arrowverse never went anywhere, especially for how overt it was.

That was kind of a shitty thing to do and not only not follow it up in any way, but start actively teasing that one of Arrow's main characters was a version of another GL instead. And supposedly both Hal and John were off limits due to the DCEU, yet they allowed them to shoehorn in the "Diggle is GL" thing. All the Hal teasing during the early seasons was literally for no reason, especially when both of his bffs had their own shows.

Don't forget in season 2 where we first visited earth 2, that on Barry's phone his speed dial had: 1. Hal 2. Diana 3. Bruce

Watching some reaction videos to ZS’s Justice League, Flashpoint, and Justice Society: WW II and I love the fact that people with general knowledge of pop culture say “run, Barry!” at climactic moments or even “damn it, Barry!” when reality gets altered. Seeing The Flash lore become so mainstream is pretty great. DC/WB has done a good job of establishing Barry’s character as the nerdy everyman. Though he can accidentally mess stuff up when trying to do the right thing. But that makes him more enduring.

The infinite frontier mini out next month by Joshua Williamson which will deal with him going Multiversal and right now the current Flash ongoing because he’s trying to help Wally while he’s jumping through time.

Justice League and Infinite Frontier both still feature Barry. He's also just as present in Flash as Wally right now and presumably for the rest of this story arc.
