I know Indra wasn't really that developed at the time, but I always thought it was SUPER weird that Indra was the youngest. I would've sworn Anole, Pixie, and Wolf Cub were far younger.

I still remember the really cute issue where they were going around seeing who was the youngest because they were certain the youngest mutant was going to die next in some sort of attack. Right before they got dragged to Limbo

I could care that the New Mutants book *draws* Anole 20% wrong, when the characterization is 100% off.

Meanwhile, Indra, who was canonically the youngest of the Academy X generation to survive the Decimation, is now a foot taller than Anole and looks like a twenty-something, while Anole is weirdly even younger than he used to be...

I cannot recall any Indra sightings recently. Though he surely needs to be focused on more. He has a lot of potential, ever since Legacy hey barely let the character appear.

I think the last time he showed up was in that X-factor issue where Wind Dancer got brought back to life.

If she works on her comedic timing, though, it could make her everyone's favorite teacher.

She really needs to realize the entertainment value of her powers. Kids would love someone who's pretty much a shiny toon.

Yeah, everyone was certain the youngest would be Pixie or Wolf Cub, until Indra realized he forgot to count himself.

The question is whether they're ACTUALLY back or if it's just another artist or colorist error.

If Marvel had seriously been paying attention to the NXM's past characterization, most of them would probably have told Xavier, etc. to go @$%& himself before Krakoa and struck out on their own. Surge literally did basically tell him just that.

The Academy should have that resentment towards the older X-Men but they'd also be happy that younger generations after them would have Krakoa after everything that happened to them.

I wish they went on a roadtrip like the X-Force team when they broke away to figure out what they were going to do moving forward.
