Default Anime/Manga That Would Work Well In Live-Action?

What are anime and manga that would work well in the live-action medium? Be it a television show or a movie?

Here’s a few from the top of my head.

    Full Metal Alchemist

    Berserk

    My Hero Academia

    Monster

    Pluto

Definitely not FMA and MHA. Anything that relies on magic/super abilities would suffer in live-action.

It all depends on the execution. FMA actually is fairly grounded compared to a lot of shonen anime out there. I think it’d translate to live action fairly well.

I think the more "grounded" anime and manga like Psycho Pass would work.

I think out of all the options, Monster would work best.

Slice of life shows which don’t require much, if anything in the way of special effects would work well in live action.

Prince of tennis would make a easy live action film also.

We've seen that Alita, Rurouni Kenshin, Gintama, and Edge of Tomorrow work, so I'm not opposed to any source being adapted to live action, not even American adaptions.

I find it interesting that Death Note never had one success, this has potential to be utilized properly into liveaction TV.

    Monster
This series took cues from the Incredible Hulk from 1978, which took cues from Le Miserables for Jack McGee and David Banner relationship. So I can see it work.

I agree with Fullmetal Alchemist, but that because the plot has too many intricacies that cannot be covered properly in film format. If you think magic and super abilities are difficult to adapt then they probably are to the Japanese, but Hollywood movies shown us they have people that can work wonders in such areas.

MHA can work easier than Fullmetal Alchemist, it still has intricacies that will limit a movie unfavorably, but it has a better chance at working.

Movies are not TV shows. If you want a better comparison, you should probably look at the Arrowverse. Even then, I'd still be worried.

Cowboy Bebop might, but we're still waiting on that.... (Netflix has been filming a live action series but it's had numerous delays due to injuries and of course covid)

The Gundam cameo in "Ready Player One" revived interest in a possible live-action adaptation (apart from a weird late 90s Japanese/Canadian TV movie) and there seemed to be some slight progress made (Brian K. Vaughan seemed to be in charge) but it's been in limbo for a while.

Doesn't Mandalorian also owe a bit to that as well?
