Green Lanterns barely lost on Instagram to Robins, 48% to 52%.

Green Lanterns beat Robins on DC Universe Infinite, 53% to 47%.

Green Lanterns beat Robins on Twitter, 55.2% to 44.8%

Here’s hoping that the Instagram loss doesn’t come back to haunt us.

Yeah, I am hoping that, given the Twitter and DC Universe Infinite numbers, GL can close the gap with Robins, and take a small lead.

If the total Instagram votes were 100,000 or less, GL should win the round. If they were between 100,000 and 120,000, there is a small chance (depending on the number of votes cast on DC Universe Infinite). If total Instagram votes are more than 120,000, then GL won't beat Robins.

Brandon Yates, the composer of Death Battle, made a song based on the idea of Kyle Rayner vs Simon from Gurren Lagann.

    DC: Kyle Rayner 1/4 Statue
XM Studios is excited to present the next 1:4 DC Comics Premium Collectibles series statue, Kyle Rayner! Paired with his talents as a skilled artist, Rayner’s creative constructs are amongst the strongest among the corps. Immortalized in detailed 1:4 scale cold-cast porcelain. Each handcrafted statue is individually hand-painted with high quality finish.

One of the most powerful lanterns who took up the torch, Kyle Rayner half-kneels atop the robot construct that he has created, mid-yell, poised for battle, his concentration at maximum as he wills the construct to existence, launching two rocket towards the target. A moment in battle immortalised. The unique paint application on the high tech robot construct shows the transitionary formation of the construct, the nuances from green to metallic green, giving it a highly dynamic quality fitting for the torch-bearer.

It's great they did a Kyle statue. Given that XM have done statues of Hal, Sinestro and Jessica, I imagined that John would've been next, but they went with Kyle instead. Glad that he isn't completely forgotten by DC.

Is it wrong that I just wish they had used Kyle's original yin/yang GL symbol? Still, it's awesome that he's getting such cool merch now.

I think it's funny how different the franchise seems looking back at this image. So many questions come to mind if you don't happen to know where the characters were back then. Why does Guy wear some strange war paint, why is John not a GL, Why is Alan called Sentinel and looking younger than Hal, why is Hal in his Silver Age look, Kyle is pretty much the only one on that cover who seems the same today, not counting the GL symbol.
