Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain Appreciation 2021

I just really hope we aren't getting Betsy meeting different alt universe Kwannon's.

Because I'm really thinking thats Queen Betsy at the end of this issue.

And the next 2 issues show Kwannon appearing BUT will it be our 616 Kwannon.

Or alt kwannon will follow our betsy to 616 to rescue the queen.

I loved the latest Excalibur. Betsy and Alt Kwannon looked beautiful. Loved seeing Betsy with Angel. I always like how Betsy has light purple hair and Kwannon has black now. Sometimes Betsy had blue eyes which were stunning, but most of the time they were purple which kinda drowned her out. Would love to see them interact and work out their issues. Alt Kwannon seems more interesting than 616. Fallen Angels pretty much ruined Kwannon.

Fallen Angels shows how Kwannon became a hero. Previously, she was a hand assassin. It ended with her realizing she cab do good things after killing Apoth. Plus her deal with Sinister to bring her daughter back is why she tolerates him for now.

I also appreciate Betsy's big flowy hair and see through nightgown on those panels. Even if maybe this is actually Queen Betsy's body.

It just seems to me after Howard's Excalibur run is over, whoever handles the Braddocks next will change the status quo. It's hard to see Brian staying Captain Avalon or serving his brother in Avalon indefinitely. The laziest thing to do with Brian is to return him to Captain Britain and some writer will brainstorm another identity for Betsy. This Excalibur run doesn't feel like it's been accepted well enough to stick.
