This is not teeny bopper AT ALL. People might read Sailor Moon, but that's just because that silhouette has become kind of synonymous with it.

This look on Betsy to me is Elizabethan x PUNK and I think it's the best design out of the bunch.

Very true. Even though I'm not a fan of how she's written these days, Betsy IS a franchise headliner and has been for some time now. She was arguably the key character in Remender's Uncanny X-Force and the main one in vol. 2, again the central character in Soule's Astonishing X-Men and I'd say in Bunn's Uncanny X-Men too. Oh and before all this, Claremont also made her the main in his Exiles/New Exiles runs. She even spawned her own legacy character with Kwannon as the new Psylocke. I feel Betsy is a hair away from true A+ material which she will accomplish once she has proper media representation via new movies and shows, hopefully in a few years' time.

I think that's why I like it. He reminds me of older artists with a modern style.

He doesn't clutter every panel with useless crap.

Marcus To's art is the saving grace of Excalibur right now. His style has a soft, disney-ish quality to it that fits well with fantasy.

Wow! I love this.

Definitely a nod to her Outback and Pink puffy costumes mixed with the CB influence. Liking it has some armor parts (body, arms, legs) and those floating TK butterflies are awesome!
I really don't mind if this is used as a new costume.
