Aside from Nathan's detachable (Bleh!) arm, it was indeed a solid issue.

Currently reading the Hellfire Hunt. Just read one of my favorite issues, in #50. So awesome!

That was such an awesome character-defining run. Whenever folks ****-talk Cable as a one-dimensional 90s relic I just point them to it.

LOL! Didn't Liefeld once draw Cable having a "stretchable" cybernetic-arm (reminds me of Machine Man):

Indeed. Truly EPIC (especially, the underrated artwork from the legendary LADRONN):

That’s badass. I really like that as Cable’s iconic costume. Not as crazy about the more generic look he’s been sporting since he came back. It’s alright I guess, but not as memorable.

There is so much more to Cable then people seem to think.

I love the cover as much as I loved the issue!

Since recently re-reading my past Cable issues, I think LADRONN has slightly surpassed Ian Churchill as my favorite artist to draw him.

I’m still partial to Churchill even all these years later, though I appreciate Ladronn’s art far more as an adult than I did back then when those issues came out. He’s masterful. So much detail in his work and such a unique style.

But Churchill’s Cable is just a freakin’ badass…

    Cable doesn’t skip arm day.

Churchill was absolutely amazing, and was always my favorite Cable artist off all time. Slightly over Ladronn. But now I've gone the other way with the 2 of them. Just this last time reading through them. It's so close though, basically 1.A and 1B.

Me too. The textless version is pretty cool, as well (IMHO):

Churchill & LADRONN, I simply can't choose between the two. So, I'll just say I love both their styles (XD)

I’ve never seen Esad Ribbic draw Cable before…

This costume from Marvel Strike Force is pretty close to the look he’s rocking right now in S.W.O.R.D.

Just throw a rifle and his Light of Galador sword across his back, crisscrossed.

He drew him in the Gaunt storyline - one of my favourite Cables.
