Yep... things get complicated.
I love that page there.

Has anyone told Cable his mother is back?
No, but he’s not particularly close to her so doubtful he’d care.
This Cable statue is badass…

Why do people consider Cable a character from an alternative timeline. True he was raised in an alternative timeline, but he was born in 616 timeline, not like Rachel, Bishop or others
Because they’re wrong. Not sure why people think that, other than perhaps they just don’t know.
He’s from the 616, just raised in an alternate future timeline as you said, and returned to this era in the 616/Marvel Universe Prime/“Sacred Timeline” (whatever you want to call it). So, in that respect, it’s almost like Fantomex or any of the Children of the Vault really, who were raised in artificially accelerated time. Meaning just that they are all 616 characters who kind of “stepped outside of normal time” if you will and grew up in some sort of hellscape which hardened them.
Cable and Deadpool runs are on comixology for cheaper prices.
It was my first run with the character and its fun.
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
Tbh, given how stoic and unflappable Cable usually is, all I really want out of life (okay, out of specific X-Men comics) is Maddy trying to play the "I'm your mother" card with him at some point and him just totally passive-aggressively being like "Yeah, I think my favorite mother/son bonding moment of ours was when you tried to ritually sacrifice me on a demon altar to open the gates of Hell when I was like six months old. Good times, Mom."
I don't know about you, but I miss Mark Brooks doing interior artwork...
